Trent's baptism day was very special! I love my little boy so much. I am proud of the good choices he makes each day. He brings a lot of love and joy into our family. Trent has a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which has been restored in these latter days. He loves the scriptures. Prior to his baptism, Trent read the entire Book of Mormon, page by page. It took him more than a year. He was determined to read every day to reach his goal. What a great example he is to me! I often see Trent kneeling in his room, praying. He prays every morning when he wakes up, and every night before he goes to bed. He is confident and sure in his knowledge that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love him. He understands the doctrines of faith, repentance, and baptism. Trent was so excited to make covenants with the Lord and to become a disciple of Christ on October 12th, 2013, just after his 8th Birthday. He was baptized by immersion by his older brother, Todd, who holds the Aaronic Priesthood. Trent then received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands through Priesthood authority by his Dad.
